Donate to South Eastern Mountain Rescue

Our annual fundraiser Long Way Round will be held on 26th November 2022.

South Eastern Mountain Rescue Associationv(SEMRA) is a registered charity (Reg. Charity: CHY17543 RCN20065478) The operating costs currently run at approximately €95,000 per annum, which includes equipment, training, insurance, communications and routine running expenses.

Team members are unpaid volunteers who subsidise the team’s activities by providing, among other things, their own personal equipment, provisions and transport. The team currently receives an annual grant from the government of approximately €7,400. The remaining running costs must be met by the team’s own fundraising efforts, which include street collections and voluntary contributions.

Any donation would be welcomed (and acknowledged).
